A DanceWorks/CoWorks production

Re:Pairing intersects dance, text, and voice. It is born of our stories, those that are unheard or forgotten, of those lost parts of ourselves that remain buried under nostalgia, under that longing for the inaccessible innocence of our past. Voice, text, and movement act as motors for discovering and revealing a surreal and dreamlike world - entrances and exits that are at once theatrical and entertaining, as they are intimate and vulnerable, shape the work. Juxtaposed tableaux create a sense of uncertainty and tension seething beneath the surface.

Re:Pairing was nominated for two 2016 Dora awards: outstanding choreography (Gualtieri) and best female performance (Swan).
